The Review:

To suck or not to suck? That is the question. You saw the trailers, and you may of thought that they were funny. However, deep in the recesses of your mind you were asking, will the movie be as funny as advertised, or suck like Monica did? I know that's what I was thinking as I digested the trailer for Sorority Boys. And to answer the question, yes it actually is funny, though like most of these types of films it is low brow humor and the film is in the end a rather stupid movie.

Here goes with a very quick rundown of the film. Three hotshots at fraternity house KOK are all that, till they get framed by the loser president for stealing the house's money that is to be used for a huge party that all the house alumni attend, and which the frat boys are to land to cushy jobs. They are booted out of the house and then head for DOG house, a sorority for the ugly girls (though some aren't so ugly) where they pretend to be women until they can prove their innocence. Here Dave (Barry Wilson) becomes Daisy, Doofer (Harland Williams from Freddy Got Fingered) becomes Roberta, and Adam (Michael Rosenbaum from Sweet November) transforms into the fat ass Adina. The three amigos learn what it is like to be women, while Dave/Daisy falls for the head of the sorority, Leah (Melissa Rosenbaum, Soul Survivors). Throw in a bunch of sexual items, female related humor, and even some slapstick and you have Sorority Boys.

Joe Jarvis and Greg Coolidge (also played Pete) wrote the screenplay while Wallace Wolodarsky directed the film. Others in the cast are Heather Matarazzo (The Princess Diaries) as the loudmouthed Katie, Nikki Martin, Jenna Bryson, the hot Bree Turner, Jodie Tate, Samantha Shelton, Tony Denman, Kathryn Stockwood, Kerri Higuchi, Omar Benson Miller,  Heather Magee, and Tony Denman.

Stupid humor, and stupid movie. However, it was hilarious for most of the film, and some nice nudity. So for the rating, Sorority Boys gets six couches out of ten,

Later.
